Conosciamo Fabio da tanti anni, come collega e come collaboratore. Come amico. …. Fabio non ha paura del nuovo… si butta,  seguendo la sua passione ,accettando situazioni sempre nuove e sfidanti… Ha un grande carisma personale che riscontriamo ogni volta si mette in relazione con i nostri  studenti…. E’ un carisma costruito su un’attenzione costante alla persona: i ragazzi che entrano in relazione con lui percepiscono di non essere un numero ;  sentono subito che  possono diventare interlocutori di un dialogo in cui i loro bisogni e le loro emozioni sono riconosciute e accolte. Lavoriamo insieme da quasi due anni.   Il progetto che abbiamo attivato nel nostro Istituto è stato accolto con enorme favore da tutte le componenti della comunità scolastica: alunni, docenti, genitori, personale ata. E’ un progetto che combina in un mix vincente attività formative, di interazione e ludiche che si sono rivelate di grande efficacia nel diffondere contenuti e promuovere motivazione. Chi sta nella scuola conosce bene il valore  e la preziosità di questi elementi.  Fabio promuove in tutti gli ambienti  dove si fa conoscere la centralità della persona e delle relazioniIl  suo lavoro sullo stare bene a scuola rappresenta una ricchezza anche per noi insegnanti :  ci trasmette una carica emotiva forte e ci fa scoprire quanto anche noi abbiamo bisogno  di  prenderci cura della nostra  dimensione emozionale per poter far meglio il nostro lavoro ed essere più carichi, motivati e motivanti!

I first had the privilege of working with Fabio Pasquale two years ago when he was my Italian counterpart in an exchange program between our schools.

His knowledge of adolescents and their needs was remarkable. Upon arriving in Tuscany (where his school is located) Fabio immediately engaged in getting to know my students personally. His sincerity and openness was apparent to the students as was evidenced by their response to him. This was accomplished on the trip from Florence to Arezzo (an hour train ride!)

Fabio continued working on organizing ice breaker activities to unite the two groups. It was clear that within hours of working with him our students had gained a trust and understanding of each other, a task that would usually take a great deal of time and effort.

Fabio is one of the most dedicated and ethical people I know. He is truly committed to understanding other cultures. He works tirelessly to engage teenagers in discussions and reflections that are deeply important. He is a great motivator both in thought and example.

I am honored to know Fabio Pasquale. He has been an inspiration to many, including me!

Fabio lavora con il cuore e con la mente. Ha una capacita’ straordinaria di empatia e anche di pazienza. A Teletruria e’ arrivato in un momento critico e ci ha dato la voglia di ritrovare entusiasmo e fiducia in noi stessi. Ci ha messo alla prova soprattutto come team insegnandoci a sfruttare le nostre potenzialita’ e volgere, cosa assai difficile, gli ostacoli in occasioni. Forse nel dialogo, nell’ascolto, il segreto di questo amico e maestro che non scordero’ mai.

Fabio is an excellent person and I feel really glad that I met him. We had been cooperating during  the Youth Exchange “Artistes de la culture urbaine” in Strasbourg. It is a blessing to meet people like Fabio. You have so many things to exchange, discuss and finally learn from him. His sociability is characteristic who makes him a very appreciated contributor to any kind of activities. Fabio is efficient, extremely competent, and he has an excellent rapport with young people.  I don’t really need many, or any kind of adjectives in order to talk for him: he combines professionalism with his love for what he does. Always with a smile and a great sense of humor, he makes people feel comfortable with him and bring out their best. Fabio thank you so much. It was a great pleasure we met and I really really hope to cooperate soon again. You are welcomed in Athens in order to fill with smiles the faces and hearts of children in Greece. Keep walking!

Fabio Pasquale ha insegnato presso l’Istituto Tecnico Commerciale “Buonarroti” di Arezzo, da me diretto, negli aa.ss. 2007-08 e 2008-09.

Ha mostrato spiccate competenze relazionali con gli studenti, creando un clima di ascolto e di partecipazione. Oltre alla normale attività didattica ha mostrato notevoli capacità progettuali nel settore del benessere relazionale, organizzando e gestendo iniziative di accoglienza, integrazione, motivazione degli studenti, sia quelli delle prime classi che quelli con qualche difficoltà nel percorso scolastico e adolescenziale. Ha lavorato molto bene anche con gli studenti stranieri e in generale in tutte le attività extracurriculari (scambi, assemblee, visite a realtà

particolarmente significative in ambito etico e sociale), utilizzando con competenza e professionalità le tecnologie della comunicazione (blog, siti web, documentazione audio e video, ecc.).

I am the initiator of a youth program by the name of TRIUMPH. The program is about bringing together 16 years old children from hostile nationalities (Bosnia and Serbia, Arab and Jewish Israelis) to meet each other in their home towns and then to have a concentrated summer camp in Rondine , the Peace Citadel near Arezzo in Tuscany.

The main challenge was to find adequate guides who will be able to work with the kids on issues of substance such as leadership, responsibility etc’ as well as on motivating activities which would keep the young people sharp and interested.

We have worked with several guides and Fabio just stood up and was really the best. He is a very experienced school teacher, but the most important element is the way he connects to the children. Right from the beginning he gained their respect and their trust and they were willing to follow the program with enthusiasm and the best of spirit.

The first year of working with Fabio was a trial period for all of us and Fabio proved to been efficient teem worker. In the second one he practically took the lead and was the outstanding all around pivot of the program causing the greatest satisfaction with the organizers and leaving them completely trustful of him.

Come studentessa dello Studentato internazionale di Rondine Cittadella della Pace ho avuto il piacere di avere Fabio Pasquale nello staff educativo che si occupava della formazione degli studenti attraverso le attivita’ di teambuilding, le attivita’ di organizzazione dei campi estivi  ed eventi di vari tipi, da quelli culturali, educativi a quelli dedicati al dialogo interculturale e alla risoluzione dei conflitti (incontri con le scuole, le associazioni, Rapporto Annuo di Rondine).

Durante il periodo in cui si lavorava insieme ho imparato tante cose da Fabio, ma sopratutto che quello che conta di piu’ e’ la persona ed e’ proprio questo l’approccio che lo distingue e grazie a cui ha cosi tanto successo nel lavoro con i giovani. Fabio tratta tutti nel modo uguale, con un grande rispetto ed e’ sempre pronto per ascoltare, infatti, e’ un grande maestro dell’ascolto attivo, si accorge anche delle piccole cose ed e’ sempre pronto ad offrire l’aiuto. Anche se prepara tutte le sue attivita’ con una grande cura non e’ mai solo il secco professionista, la sua dimensione umana e la cura per gli altri e’ sempre presente nel suo lavoro e questo lo rende uno dei migliori formatori che io abbia mai conosciuto.”

My name is Antonela Melanori and I participated in the Strong Collective Trainig Course in “Conflict Transformation” for NGOs in Ommen/the Netherlands in 15-22 August 2010.

There are two words which can bring more harmony to a relationship, more peace to a difficult situation, more beauty to the world and more ease at work. The words are simply- THANK YOU!

With these two simple words, I want to thank Fabio, my CT Group Trainer for what he is and what he does.

I love the way he interacts with people and the way he expresses his opinions, very calmy and very precise. During the training in Ommen, I realised that he is the sort of person who transmits not only professionalism in his work but caring as well and that’s what I appreciate the most. As a conclusion, I would say that he is:

• An excellent leader
• A great listener
• A highly professional trainer

Per oltre un’anno ho avuto l’opportunità di lavorare con Fabio nell’ associazione Rondine Cittadella della Pace. Abbiamo realizzato diversi progetti, attività formative, campi estivi ecc. Oltre ai tanti strumenti che ho ottenuto personalmente come formatore ho avuto anche la soddisfazione di vedere il forte impatto che lascia il metodo ai beneficiari delle attività. L’approccio ‘learning by doing’ permette una comprensione profonda degli argomenti trattati  e crea esperienze indimenticabili.

I had a privilege and opportunity to work together with Fabio Pasquale in the “Triumph” teenagers camp in Rondine  which was organized by Rotary club. It was a great pleasure to experience the unique working method of Fabio, the way he works with groups and individuals in the group context supporting them to reach personal goals in life. He’s certainly a great trainer and youthworker with a lot of experience, applicable skills and knowledge. Thank you Fabio.

I can’t begin to tell you how much our students enjoyed the “World Cafe” activity led by Fabio. It sparked some wonderful and insightful conversation, and a great time was had by all (teachers included!)

Fabio is one of the best trainers i have ever worked with. He is very professional but more then this he has a unique and wonderful way to connect with teenagers and incourage them to participate in all activity and really think out of the box.

It is a joy to work and be in Fabio’s company. He is a take-charge person who has a great humor. He is easy-going and brings people together regardless of cultural differences, thinking patterns, religion etc.

I met him in August 2009 in Ommen, The Netherlands, with the occasion of a personal development training and had a very powerful conversation right in a moment of change in my life. In 2010, August, we worked together in “Strong Collective Training Course” and he was an example for me: patience to listen to everyone, flexibility with long hours of work, adding a joke to every obstacle which might have brought a low energy in the team. It is interesting to discover what this person has that everyone gathers around him to listen to his stories, to ask for his advice. Fabio has a great gift of combining work with pure enjoyment. His curiosity for people makes him a special pedagogue, who makes sure all the time that tasks are done, that apprentices got their lessons and everyone is satisfied with their results.

When I have children, I’ll send them to Fabio’s projects. He is a professional who has the rare quality of making people fell comfortable around him and adding his personal example to the projects he takes part in.

Ho incontrato Fabio 3  anni fa nella scuola dove ero trasferita, l’ITC di Arezzo. Fin da subito ci siamo sentiti in sintonia sui valori profondi in cui crediamo e sul modo di lavorare con gli studenti a scuola. Ho potuto collaborare con lui in vari progetti per i nostri studenti: una gita etica al Sermig di Torino, molto formativa, dove oltre a visitare la bella città abbiamo potuto conoscere l'”Arsenale della pace” e fare esperienza di volontariato; un progetto per le classi prime, mirato all’accoglienza e al  benessere dei nuovi studenti nella nuova scuola, che comprendeva  uscite di 2 giorni e altri  interventi in classe;  la creazione di un “Gruppo Studentesco” affiatato, entusiasta, e motivato a organizzare assemblee e altre iniziative per rendere più partecipata la vita della nostra scuola; un progetto per migliorare le capacità di relazione e  il modo di stare insieme del gruppo degli studenti tutor; abbiamo inoltre condiviso un indimenticabile scambio linguistico e culturale a New York… Ciò che mi colpisce in Fabio è la sua capacità di realizzare progetti coinvolgenti, divertenti ed estremamente significativi per i ragazzi; di creare in modo semplice ed immediato profonde relazioni e momenti emozionanti, dai quali i giovani traggono speranza, ottimismo e  la voglia di costruire qualcosa di bello sentendosi protagonisti della propria vita. Lavorando con lui ho imparato molto, ho condiviso la sua gioia e ho acquistato fiducia. E…mi sono anche fatta un sacco di risate!

Ho partecipato con Fabio al progetto con le scuole a Rondinei dove abbiamo avuto conversazioni  e fatto attività con bambini e ragazzi per spiegare l’importanza della pace . Io ho raccontato la mia esperienza alla Cittadella della Pace dove ho convissuto con giovani provenienti da tutto il mondo. Abbiamo culture,religioni, punti di vista differenti ma qui abbiamo  l’opportunità di confrontarci con gli altri in modo sereno. Attraverso la nostra testimonianza speriamo che i bambini capiscano quanto è sbagliato fare la guerra.

Fabio Pasquale was a very important person in the youth exchange in Viseu (Portugal). I would contact Fabio for other projects without hesitation, because he’s a great youth trainer, with great abilities to inspire young people.

Devo dire che e’ stato un grande piacere conoscerlo…Non ho mai visto una persona che, come lui, si dedica interamente a quello che fa…Mi piace il suo modo di lavorare con i giovani…senza alcun problema può trovare una lingua comune e farsi seguire in qualsiasi attività. E la cosa più apprezzabile e’ che piano piano diventa un vero amico!!!

Rarely in life you find someone who really inspires you, someone who really gives you tools for those complicated life, its not easy to change yourself, its even harder as long as you are getting older.

I can say honestly Fabio is a Mentor who trains you how to think differently between you to the people around you and moreover between you to yourself ,
